What Is Your Favorite Christmas Tradition?

It's almost here. Just five days from now is Christmas Eve which means Christmas day is only six days away. While preparing for the holidays, I'm sure you, like me, are working hard to carry on Christmas traditions that may have started long ago.

What are some of your favorite traditions? Do you go to Midnight Mass? Do you travel to someone's house? Do you watch a certain movie or read a certain book? Does your menu always include the same foods?

Editor's Note: Christmas Eve is big in our house with lots of activity -- Mass, dinner, family, friends, an Open House -- but it always ends with a pair of new pajamas and a reading of The Night Before Christmas. There's something magical about reading that story, in new pajamas, with everyone quiet, listening only to the tick-tock of the wall clock and the narrator's voice -- it's a tradition we all look forward to every year.
