Old-Fashioned Concert to benefit Lowell Mason House. Free. 

3 p.m. to 4 p.m., library.  Local Cultural Council grant-writing info-session and workshop. 

7:30 p.m., First Parish Medfield, 26 North St. A Chamber Opera with Eva Kendrick.

Sunday

3 p.m., library.  Mel Carney Duo playing soul, blues and funk.
