Weekend Activities Around The Area: March 25-27

Mad science, Bruins bash and a spring fair are what's going on around the area this weekend.

Spring is in the air and the weekend is just around the corner. If the only plans you have are not to stay home because lounging on the couch and watching TV just doesn't cut it anymore, then don't worry, Medfield Patch is here to assist you! Check out our list of suggestions of events to attend, places to go, sites to see – all within driving distance of home.

Why Go: Make your own sundae, complete with all the toppings, while laughing with this year’s entertainment: Jenny the Juggler - you won’t want to miss her.

Pricing: Tickets are $6 per person. Family maximum is $25. Children 2 and under are free.

Where/When: , 165 Prospect St, Norwood; Saturday, March 26, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Why Go:
Enjoy making crafts, playing carnival games, doing the cake walk, eating various foods (pizza, cotton candy, snacks and baked goods). Participate in raffles and silent auctions.

Where/When: , 200 Patriot Pl, Foxborough; Sunday, March 27, 7 p.m.

Why Go: 
Watch the Bruins face-off against the Flyers on Sunday, March 27th. Have your photo taken with the Bruins Ice Girls and Blades, the Boston Bruins mascot! Take a peek into the Bruins Hummer, take home great giveaways and have a chance to win Bruins autographed memorabilia. Enter to win a pair of tickets to the April 6th Bruins game!

Where/When: , 2 Washington St, Foxboro; Friday, March 25; 7 to 11 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy a festive fundraising night of fun, food and drink. Bring your friends and your dancing shoes. This "not-to-miss" evening begins at 7 p.m. with over 30 different varieties of wine and beer for our guests to sample while they take a chance at winning one of our exciting raffle or silent auction items. Guests will also enjoy an delicious array of hot and cold appetizers located at various food stations. Then it's time to hit the dance floor for a wild good time.

Pricing: $50 per person.

Where/When: , 468 Main St, Medfield; Saturday, March 26, 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Why Go: 
The Mad Scientists of Greater Boston will be at the library to take you to the exciting world of Dry Ice with a series of fun interactive experiments! Learn the secrets behind the bubbling potions!  Event to take place in the meeting room. Register by phone, in person in the Children's Room or online by clicking here.
