REMINDER: Tools for Managing Stress Program to be Held in Medfield

Medfield's Holistic Wellness Center has organized a free community health program about stress management to be held on May 17-18.

At its best, stress can make us stronger, more creative, and more effective in our lives – this is resilience. At its worst, stress can shut down the natural ability we all have to handle the challenges of our lives – it can even make us sick.

The Medfield Holistic Wellness Center, located at 67 West St., will be hosting a workshop on May 17 and 18 for those who want to learn more about stress management. Come learn about strategies that can help you manage stresses and become more resilient. Meditation is an important tool in the resiliency toolbox. You will also learn about the power of meditation and how to start your own personal meditation practice.

These 1 1/2 hour workshops will provide a free overview of an upcoming four-week Mind Body Program at the Holistic Wellness Center, taught by Patricia Martin Arcari, PhD, RN. Other services offered by the Holistic Wellness Center staff will also be highlighted.
