Police Log Including Missing Husband and Lacking Laundry

Taken from the Medfield public safety logs for Oct. 3 and Oct. 4

Wednesday, Oct. 3

12:40 a.m., Main Street. Caller said he overheard his neighbor saying somebody is outside. Caller did not want to get involved. He said nobody left or went into the building. Police checked the outside of the building for anybody who was hanging around. The only person they found was a man walking his dog. 

9:26 a.m., Elm Street. Caller reported her dog ran away behind the Wheelock School.

1:59 p.m., South Street. Caller reported a vehicle on the tracks on South Street. Gone on arrival. 

5:36 p.m., Orchard Street. Resident into station to complain about aggressive drivers and speeding on Orchard Street near the Millis line. Most of the activity is occuring during commute hours. Extra traffic enforcement requested.

5:47 p.m., Upham Road. Resident into station to report a problem/fire hazard with the laundry machines at the laundromat; she attempted to contact the owner without success. Medfield Fire Department provided assistance.

Thursday, Oct. 4

12:13 a.m., Blacksmith Drive. Caller said she was looking for her husband and asked the police of they knew of his whereabouts. The officer told her they did not.

8:08 a.m., Main Street. Caller reported he was just in a motor vehicle accident with no personal injury. 

9:20 a.m., Spring Street. Walk in report of identification and credit card fraud. 

9:30 a.m., North Street. A representative from the Medfield Lions Club into station to tell police they will conduct their annual fundraiser on Oct. 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

12:05 p.m., Country Way. Man into station with a harassment order to be served on Country Way. The summons was served at 4:14 p.m.

3:36 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported a possible motor vehicle crash in front of her house. She saw three vehicles parked on the side of the road and people talking. Gone on arrival.

3:58 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported a minor motor vehicle accident with no personal injury. Police reported "very minor damage."

5:39 p.m., Main Street. A Shaw's employee called 911 to report a man in the store was having a seizure. The man was later taken to Norwood Hospital.

9:26 p.m., Orchard Street. Caller reported some kids may have gone into a neighbor's garage. Police spoke with kids who said it was not them.
