Police Log: Possible B&E, Man With Knife

Here is a look at Medfield police logs from Oct. 1 and Oct. 2.

 

Monday, Oct. 1

5:36 p.m., Bridge Street. Caller repots he thinks he has an injured coyote in his backyard. Animal Control Officer is out of town. Police responded.

11:54 p.m., Main Street. Caller reports a lot of noise coming from the CVS parking lot bright lights and loud trucks. He would like them to quiet down if possible. Police responded and discovered the contractor is paving and putting down the lines, and have another one or two hours of work.

Tuesday, Oct. 2

2:34 a.m., West Street. Caller reported hearing noise coming from the Medfield Animal Shelter. Nothing found.

9:41 a.m., Main Street. Traffic enforcement. One verbal warning issued.

9:51 a.m., Brastow Drive. Caller reported fraud. 

10:17 a.m., Derby Lane. Female jogger reported she was approached by gray SUV; the male driver made remarks that made her feel uncomfortable. Police located operator and vehicle on Flintlocke Lane. 

2:35 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported possible breaking and entering by two males attempting to enter garage window. Four Medfield officers as well as Dover police responded. Police dog was requested and arrived at 2:53 p.m. At 3:19 p.m., two individuals matching the description were found painting the exterior of the caretaker's house at this location. Individuals and house checked ok. Painting supervisor was notified.

3:04 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported a minor motor vehicle accident with property damage near Shaws. 

3:47 p.m., Main Street. Caller reports she is in the CVS parking lot and would like to see an officer because the driver in the car next to her opened her door and hit the caller's car. The caller went to talk to the driver but she drove away.

6:24 p.m., Miller Street. Sharon police reported that a man has made threats against a Miller Street resident. The man has taken off his tracking bracelet. At 8:01 p.m, Millis police called about the man and requested extra checks on Miller Street. Millis cautioned Medfield police to "use caution if coming into contact with man, he is known to carry a knife." Unfounded.

6:30 p.m., Main Street. A fire was reported in the CVS parking lot. at 6:31 p.m., the fire department reported the fire was out.
