Revisit your younger days when you hopped in the car, started the engine and drove off in search of something fun. Here are three unique options for you, depending on how far you want to drive. Visit one, or visit all of them. How far will you go?

15 Minutes: Powisset Farm, located at 37 Powisset St., Dover

Powisset Farm has a little something for everybody. They have a farm stand every Tuesday from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. from June to October where you can get a variety of fruits and vegetables among other locally grown foods. On Saturday, kids and adults can have the opportunity to be farmers themselves with Powisset's Friends in the Fields program from 1:30 to 5 p.m. Learn some tips from the people at the farm and help plant and pick right in the fields. 30 Minutes: Borderland State Park, 259 Massapoag Ave., Easton

If you’re looking to get out, enjoy nature, play a game of Frisbee golf or go for a run while taking in a piece of history at the same time, Borderland State Park is the perfect place for you.

Located on Massapoag Ave. on the Easton-Sharon line, the park is the former estate of local socialites Oakes and Blanche Ames, whose stone mansion still remains the centerpiece of the property.

Purchased by the Commonwealth in 1971, the former 1250 acre estate has grown to encompass nearly 1800 acres and is open to the public for any recreational activity. There are long hiking trails, fishing ponds, frisbee golf course, open fields and woods.

Staffed by four full-time employees, the park also hosts a variety of programs, such as morning bird walks, mansion tours, hikes, and fishing clinics. To learn more about what the park has to offer, click here.

60 Minutes: Waquoit Bay, Falmouth

Visit the Waquoit Bay Reserve, a living laboratory that studies the coastal ecosystem. It is a part of the Massachusetts State Park System. It offers many family programs throughout the year. There are scenic views from the visitors' center.
