Medfield Whiz Kid: Stephanie Shepherd and Allie Kauffmann

Medfield Patch's "Whiz Kids" is a weekly column featuring individual kids, youth groups, teens, and even teams, who wow us with their accomplishments.

Whiz Kid's Name (s): Stephanie Shepherd, Allie Kauffman

Whiz Kid's School: Medfield High School, seniors

Whiz Kid's Accomplishments: Stephanie is very active in the Medfield High School music department and is most notably the lead vocalist for the award-winning Medfield High School Jazz Band Ensemble I as well as a member of the Jazz Choir. Allie is a true performer, involved in the various plays put on by the Medfield High School Theatre Society and boasts an extremely gifted singing voice, which she showcases in the Jazz Choir.

Together, this talented duo performed the National Anthem at Monday's 360th Annual Town Meeting to perfection. Stephanie also performed with the Medfield High School Jazz Band prior to the start of Town Meeting as Monday was recognized as Medfield High School Jazz Band Day and will perform Friday night (Jazz Night) at the Lowell Mason Auditorium with the Jazz Band. 

Whiz Kids' Key to Awesomeness: Stephanie and Allie show their passion and love for music through their voices and have that star quality of being able to perform and capture the audience while on stage through their music. Watch the video of their performance of the National Anthem and be sure to see them perform at Friday's Jazz Night in the Lowell Mason Auditorium of Medfield High School.
