Medfield Whiz Kid: Julia Biedrzycki

MHS senior is a two-sport all-star with plenty of accolades on and off the field.

Medfield Patch's "Whiz Kids" is a weekly column featuring individual kids, youth groups, teens, and even teams, who wow us with their accomplishments.

Whiz Kid's Name: Julia Biedrzycki

Whiz Kid's School: Medfield High School, senior

Whiz Kid's Accomplishments: She was named the Tri-Valley League MVP of field hockey this past fall and a three year TVL all-star; Boston Herald All-Scholastic; National Honor Society member; TVL all-star in softball; Voted Best of 60 (Among the 60 best field hockey players in Massachusetts). 

Whiz Kids' Key to Awesomeness: Her hard work in the offseason has translated into being a two-sport TVL all-star (field hockey and softball). In field hockey, she finished her career with 31 goals and 20 assists and was a captain of the team. She also played on four Division 2 state tournament field hockey teams. She is a captain on the softball team this spring and has been a starting pitcher for four years. She is also an awesome cook.
