Whiz Kid's Accomplishments: Selected by Medfield Foundation as 2011 Youth Volunteer of the Year

Whiz Kids' Key to Awesomeness: Walsh, a student at Medfield High School, is President of the Community Teens, a role in which she plans and oversees the work of a group of about 50-100 high school student volunteers.

Walsh runs the meetings, sets the agendas, works with the Community Teens leadership team and the steering committee, and she also consults with the co-advisors. Walsh has also been a junior volunteer at Falmouth Hospital, volunteered for a candidate for the legislature, and was a team leader for students fasting and performing community service for World Vision.
