Medfield Police Log: Sept. 6 to Sept. 8

Here's a look at the police logs from last week.

 

Thursday, Sept. 6

2:27 p.m., Harding St. Council on Aging asked police to conduct a well-being check on a Harding Street resident.

4:41 p.m., Miller St.  Caller reported a blue wheelbarrow in the street.  Police removed the wheelbarrow and placed it on the side of the road.

6:18 p.m., Lakewood Dr.  Caller reported that a neighbor was screaming at her children. Police spoke with the neighbor and her child.  Police also spoke with the original caller.  Peace restored.

7:38 p.m., Main St.  Police conducted a motor vehicle stop at Main and Hartford Streets; citation issued.

9:50 p.m., Main St.  Police received several calls about someone hitting a deer on Route 109 near 226 Main Street. Gone on arrival.

10:45 p.m., John Chowder Rd.  Walk-in report that, when she went to go into her house, the door was unlocked. Police checked the building which was secure.

Friday, Sept. 7

6:49 a.m., Main St.  Caller reported an injured deer in her front yard. Animal Control notified.

9:31 a.m., South St.  Police responded to Medfield High School investigating a report of suspicious activity.

12:24 p.m., West St.  Traffic enforcement; two citations issued.

2:44 p.m., Granite St.  Caller complained about speeding cars on Granite Street.

7:39 p.m., Green St.  Caller reported that a dog was left in a car with all the windows rolled up near Bullard's Marketplace. Police discovered that the windows were open and there was "no problem."

8:04 p.m., North St. Caller reported a blue Toyota in front of him is driving into Medfield and is "all over the roadway." Car was registered to a Millis man.  Police pulled over the car and report that the "male driver appears to have just been tired."

Saturday, Sept. 8

1:35 p.m., South St.  Motor vehicle accident with property damage.  A Walpole man called the station to say that his daughter was sideswiped by a white van on Saturday on South St. near the bridge.

3:15 p.m., North St.  Numerous calls reported a over Medfield.

5:35 p.m., Plain St. Caller reported the sheep were out on Plain St.  She called back to say she got the sheep back in and she locked the gate.

10:23 p.m., Spring St.  Caller reported an erratic operator on Spring St.  Police said the man had been having trouble with his wipers.

11:59 a.m., Pleasant St.  Caller reported a loud party. Police asked residents to turn off their music, and three of them were outside smoking cigarettes.
