Wednesday, Sept. 19

7:07 a.m. and 1:56 p.m., Pound Street and Robert Sproul Road. Police assist with school crossing.

7:10 a.m. and 2:06 p.m., Main Street and Robert Sproul Road.  Police assist with school crossing.

7:12 a.m. and 2:07 p.m., Pound Street and South Street. Police assist with school crossing.

10:47 a.m., West Mill Street. Motor vehicle accident with property damage.

5:01 p.m., North Street. Caller reports a dog on their property.  Animal Control was notified.

6:28 p.m., Main Street.  Motor vehicle accident with property damage.

7:03 p.m., Shawnee Road. Caller reported a door-to-door salesman selling windows. No permit with police. Gone on arrival.

9:27 p.m., Curve Street. Two residents reported no water service on the street for over 30 minutes.  Police investigated.

10:40 p.m., North Meadows Road.  Caller reported two large bags of trash in Route 27 near West Street. Sherborn police said they have a car stopped in their town that hit the bag of trash. Highway department was contacted to pick up trash.

Thursday, Sept. 20

6:19 a.m. Callers from Indian Hill Road, Evergreen Way and Deerfield Drive say they do not have any water service.

9:00 a.m., Spring Street.  Gas station reports a $40.06 drive-off from a car registered in Walpole.  Police left a message on the home answering machine. 

9:51 a.m., High and Plain Streets. Police issued a verbal warning to a resident regarding cutting down trees on the side of Route 27. 

10:44 a.m., Pleasant Street. Parking ticket issued for hydrant violation.

3:13 p.m., North Meadows Road.  Caller reported she found a small tan dog and she has it in Sherborn.

7:17 p.m. Vine Lake Cemetery. Caller (a Millis resident) said there was someone walking their dog in the cemetery despite "No Dog Walking" signs. Gone on arrival.

7:52 p.m., Main Street. Caller reported an erratic driver pulled into Noon Hill Grill.  Police found the vehicle but no one was in it.  At 8:44 p.m., police discovered the driver was a young girl learning how to drive.

8:12 p.m., Causeway Street. Caller reported a group of youths in the area ringing doorbells. Caller called back to say it was the high school football team.  Police spoke to the caller and resolved the matter.

9:21 p.m., Hartford Street. Police discovered a suspicious vehicle at Rocky Woods. The car went on its way.
