Medfield Police Log: Sept. 13-14

Here's a look at the police logs from last week.

 

Thursday, Sept. 13

4:17 a.m., Eastmount Road. Caller reported to State Police that a possible drunk driver was heading toward Route 95. Walpole police were notified.

9:12 a.m., Spring Street. Traffic enforcement, one citation issued for a red light violation.

9:40 a.m., South Street. Detail officer reports a black lab at South Street and Route 27. Animal Control was contacted.

10:02 a.m., Spring Street. Gas station employee reported a gas drive-off of $346.85 in diesel fuel. Caller said the man drove a commercial vehicle and is a regular customer who lives in Dover. She will talk to him the next time he comes in. 

10:12 a.m., Hatters Hill Road. Caller on the fire phone reported a wire down on Route 109 and Hatters Hill Road. Police said it looked like the cover of a fire alarm wire. The wire was taken care of.

12:43 p.m., Hawthorne at Pine Street. Caller reported a tree near Hawthorne that looked like it might come down. Tree warden was notified.

12:55 p.m., South Street. Caller reported an injured bird in her driveway. Animal Control was notified.

1:18 p.m., Elm Street. Caller wanted to talk to police about an eviction.

7:30 p.m., Main Street. The Fire Department had an unknown male walk into the station to report a water break on North Street near Janes Avenue. Police report a good amount of water on Main Street. Water Department discovered a gate box leak; they will take care of it tomorrow. 

Friday, Sept. 14

6:29 a.m., Routes 27 and 109. Motor vehicle accident with minor damage.

11:22 a.m., Wilkins Glen Road. Caller said she has been receiving harassing phone calls and she thinks someone may have her Social Security Number. Police responded.

1:12 p.m., West Mill and Harding Street. Police investigated a vacant house for suspicious activity after seeing two vehicles on the property. Police discovered the cars belong to the real estate agent and a contractor who will be doing work on the property.

2:26 p.m., Main Street.  Caller reported a disturbance in a minivan in front of a liquor store. Police said the van was gone on arrival but the argument was between family members.

7:46 p.m., Green Street. Patrol officer removed four youths from Hinkley Pond.

7:51 p.m., Main Street. Traffic enforcement, two citations for speeding were issued.

8:32 p.m., West Street.  Caller reports a dead fox in a dog house.

9:53 p.m., North Street.  Caller from a liquor store reported someone passed out in their vehicle in front of the store. Police identified the Woodfall Road resident and got him home.
