Lord's T-Shirts Are In

Once you receive an email notification, pre-ordered t-shirts can be picked up at the back counter.

The much-anticipated souvenir Lord's t-shirts have arrived and, once you have received an email confirmation that your order is ready, pre-orders can be picked up from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., say store owners Nancy Kelly-Lavin and Tom Kelly.

Orders placed very recently may not be ready yet. Pre-orders will be notified by email when their t-shirts are ready to be picked up.

Proceeds from the sales of t-shirts -- being sold to commemorate Lord's Department Store's existence in Medfield from 1940-2013 (it will close on Feb. 28) -- will go toward the Bill Kelly Scholarship Fund.

"We deeply appreciate your purchase of Lord's shirt (or shirts!) in honor of our Dad, Bill Kelly," said Kelly-Lavin in an email to customers. "He would be thrilled to know that the proceeds will provide scholarships to Medfield students in the years ahead. Thank you for making that possible."

The Kellys offer a few helpful hints for pre-order pick-up:

  1. Shirt pick-up will take place in the back of the store.
  2. Please pay by cash or check. Checks should be made payable to Lord's Department Store.
  3. When you pick up your order, please double check it to make sure you received the correct size (s). With over 1,000 shirt orders to sort through, we're bound to make a few mistakes along the way!
  4. Feel free to send someone in to pick up your order -- we'll just need the name the order is under.
