 About Personal Best Karate:

2011 marks the 20th year anniversary for Personal Best Karate. From humble beginnings, starting in a garage to becoming a Martial Arts Organization with a national reputation of excellence, Personal Best has continued to positively impact the communities it serves. Blending character education, physical fitness and effective self defense skills together into an age appropriate curriculum has created quite a following. This June, Personal Best Karate will celebrate its 1,000th promotion to the rank of first degree Black Belt.

Outside the walls of Personal Best, Rappold has led the way in anti- bully education for schools.  The very popular, BullyGuard™ program has aided 29 public and private schools in proactively dealing with bullying.  To date, Walpole, Foxboro, Easton, Norton, Mansfield, Sharon and many other communities have benefited from the program’s message.

Rappold is a frequent speaker on topics of bully education for parents and students, personal protection, raising self esteem, and peak performance psychology.  Additionally, Personal Best raises thousands of dollars annually for the local school systems with their after school programs. As part of their character education they established a non profit organization, Personal Best Charity, that has provided 14,000 Thanksgiving meals to local families in need over the past 16 years.
