Craig’s list is an incredible resource for free things, large items for sale locally (reasonably priced), job search, house search, local activities, house cleaning services, and much more.
3. Swap.com

Where to find it: http://www.swap.com
Have a pile of music, books, movies, and games collecting dust in your home? Swap.com is an online marketplace where you can trade in these items for others you need and want. They have a mobile app now for hard core swap junkies, and they’re working with schools to get much needed books into classrooms. Swap has also started hosting swap events (think flea market, minus the fleas).
4. Twice is Nice

Pop into this second hand store in Norwood Center for some amazing deals on gently used designer clothes. They are picky with what they accept, so you’re not stuck sorting through a bunch of junk to find your treasure. There’s even a $1 bin. If you’ve cleaned out your closet recently, call to book an appointment and let her sell your cast-offs there. In three months, you’ll receive a check in the mail for 50 percent of any of your clothes that sold. It’s so easy!
