3. Fireworks:

Deal Time: July 2-4

Where to Find It: All around, check Medfield Patch's guide to watching fireworks on Thursday.

Fireworks are free entertainment! You have to be willing to put the time in driving to the location in time to find a spot to sit and, usually, you have to be willing to sit in traffic when they’re over too. That said, watching fireworks is exciting and entertaining. Thousands of “oooohs” and “ahhhhs” make this dazzling display well worth the effort and create tons of memories! Don’t forget your chair or blanket to sit on during the show.

4. Fourth of July parade in Norwood:

Deal Time: July 4 at 5:45 p.m.

Where to Find It: The parade route runs down Washington Street from Coakley Middle School to the Town Hall and ends in Shaw’s parking lot (across from the Fire Station).

This parade is free of charge and full of fun and celebration! From veterans to politicians to the Town Champion floats for baseball and softball to marching bands to the Colonial Boys to the ever-popular Cycling Murrays, there is something for everyone in this local parade! Walk on down to your favorite spot on the parade route and spend some free time with your friends and neighbors.
