Flood Watch in Effect through Monday Night
National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for Norfolk County, which includes Medfield.
The National Weather Service issued a Flood Watch for several areas of the state Monday morning, including Norfolk County, and, subsequently, the Medfield area.
"Widespread rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is expected across the watch area during today into this evening," the NWS statement read. "However, the potential exists for some areas to receive 3 to 5 inches of rain."
A flood watch means there is potential for flooding based on recent forecasts, according to the NWS.

While the roads will undoubtedly be wet throughout the afternoon in Medfield, the good news is there are no reports so far of any significantly-flooded areas.
