Public Meeting on Medfield State Hospital Update: There will be a public meeting tonight held by Massachusetts Department of Capital Asset Management (DCAM) at 7 p.m. on the second floor of Town Hall to discuss the status of the Medfield State Hospital. "The meeting is part of the continuing Public Involvement Process concerning DCAM efforts underway since late 2009  to identify the nature and extent of hazardous material releases and contaminants of concern on the site of the former Medfield State Hospital," Medfield resident Bill Massaro told Medfield Patch in an e-mail.

Check Back Today: It's finally Thursday, which means it is time to start planning the weekend. If you feel like getting out and doing something different or fun this weekend, but don't have plans, check out our suggestions for five things to do around town or throughout the area this weekend. We will also profile houses that sold in town and around the area over the last week. There will be a photo gallery recap of Wednesday's MCPE 6th Annual Spelling Bee held at Medfield High School. We will also provide recaps from Board of Selectmen and Warrant Committee meetings from earlier this week.
