Today's Forecast: Monday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for "mostly sunny, with a high near 64 degrees. Calm wind becoming south between 4 and 7 mph." Monday night: "Mostly cloudy, with a low around 48. South wind between 3 and 7 mph."

  • Medfield's Planning Board will meet at 8 p.m. on the second floor of Town Hall. 
  • Medfield Public Library's children's room advisory group meeting will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. 

The Community Singers Rehearsals: The Community Singers, a chorus of about 50 members from Medfield and surrounding towns, under the direction of David Giessow, will begin spring rehearsals for their fall 2011 program tonight from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. This non-audition group of singers meets to rehearse on Monday evenings from 7:30-9:30 in the sanctuary of The United Church of Christ, 496 Main Street, Medfield through June 13th and then returns early in September to begin preparing for their 22nd Annual Concert on November 20th.

Warriors' Monday: Six Medfield High School sports teams are in play Monday: The MHS baseball team hosts Millis at 3:45 p.m. at Curt Schilling Field; The MHS softball team hosts Millis at 3:45 p.m. at Shonda Schilling Field; the MHS boys' and girls' track teams host Norton at 3:3o p.m.; the MHS girls' tennis team travels to Millis for a 3:45 p.m. match and the MHS boys' volleyball team hosts Douglas at 6 p.m.
