Five Things You Need to Know Today in Medfield, Aug. 3

Here's a look at the day ahead.

Today's Forecast: Wednesday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for mostly sunny, with a high near 79. North wind around 6 mph. Wednesday Night: A slight chance of showers before 9 p.m. Patchy fog after 11 p.m. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 61. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Notable Events:

  • In Medfield today, the Medfield  will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the  Chenery Room. The  will meet in the Medfield Town Hall at 7 p.m.
  • The Medfield Library  will hold an  for children today from 11:30 a.m. to noon. Bring a blanket and meet on the lawn behind the gazebo with your snack or picnic lunch. Your children will get to enjoy picture books and summer stories.
