Today is MHS Jazz Band Day: The Medfield Board of Selectmen voted unanimously at its April 5 meeting to make April 25 Medfield High School Jazz Band Day. Check back at Medfield Patch later today for a story on the occasion.

  • Monday's Needs and Leads Networking Group at will be held at 10:30 a.m.
  • Four Medfield High School sports teams are in play today: The Warriors' girls' tennis team hosts Westwood at 3:45 p.m.; the Warriors' softball team and baseball team travel to Westwood for 3:45 p.m. games and the Warriors' boys' tennis team takes the court in Westwood for a 3:45 p.m. game.

Annual Town Meeting: Medfield's annual Town Meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the MHS gymnasium. Voters are encouraged to attend as the Warrant Articles are presented and discussed. There are two overrides on the docket as well – an operational override for town budgets in FY12 and a debt exclusion for $10 million to build a new DPW garage.
