Notable Events:

  • The Medfield School Committee will meet in the TV Production classroom of Medfield High School  at 7:30 p.m. Check back later today for a preview of what will be discussed at the meeting. 
  • Monday Needs & Leads Networking Group will meet at the Medfield Public Library at 10:30 a.m. The group is designed to help those seeking a  new job, changing careers, or those interested in building their professional network.

Opening Day for High School Spring Sports: The Medfield High School spring sports seasons begin today with five teams in play. The MHS boys' and girls' track teams will host Dover-Sherborn at 3:30 p.m. at the MHS track. The Medfield softball team will host Needham at 3:45 p.m. The girls' lacrosse team will travel to Shrewsbury for a 4 p.m. game and the Medfield boys' volleyball team will play at St. John's High School at 6:30 p.m.

Medfield Historical Society Presents "Digging Deeper" by Vine Lake Cemetery: Stop by the First Parish Unitarian Universalist of Medfield at 7:30 p.m. tonight for what is sure to be an interestingly entertaining presentation of the Vine Lake Cemetery. Learn what the strange markers at the cemetery mean; who is buried in the unmarked locations and why were these symbols chosen for gravestone art.
