Today's Weather: A beautiful day for a 26-mile run, the forecast for Patriot's Day is expected to be mostly sunny with a high near 60 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Spectators at Monday's Boston Marathon or at Fenway Park for the Red Sox 11:05 a.m. game vs. the Toronto Blue Jays can expect to have great weather for their respective events. There will be a chance of showers Monday night, mainly after 9 p.m. Chance of precipitation is 5o percent.

  • Monday Needs & Leads Networking group will meet at 10:30 a.m. 
  • Medfield High School boys' lacrosse team (4-1, 4-0) will travel to Billerica for a 4 p.m. game at 35 River St, Billerica. 

Patriot's Day Closings: Patriot's Day commemorates the battles of Lexington and Concord in 1775, according to timeanddate.com. Those were the two earliest battles in the American Revolutionary War. Massachusetts and Maine are the only states that recognize Patriot's Day as a holiday. All state, county and municipal offices are closed today. Medfield public schools are on April Vacation this week.
