Booster Club Snack Shack to Open April 21: The spring opening of the MHS Booster's snack shack is on April 21 during the Medfield High School boys' lacrosse game against Xaverian of Westwood. Enjoy Italian Groceria's pizza, Kayem's hot dogs, hot pretzels, cookies, popcorn and candy. Colds drinks are available on a hot night and if it is cold, there will be hot chocolate, tea and coffee available.

Medfield Green Day Set for April 30: Medfield Green has announced the Medfield DPW and Police will join the committee for Green Day on Saturday, April 30th from 9 a.m. to noon. Medfield DPW will be selling new Transfer Station Stickers. Save a trip to Town Hall and buy a new sticker at Green Day. Everyone's sticker expires this year on June 30th  $50 for the first car and $25 for the second.  Stickers are good for two years.  Cash or check is accepted. Medfield Police will be collecting expired prescriptions. Don't flush them away.  Chief Robert Meaney and his staff will be collecting any old prescriptions and medications and have them disposed of properly.  Look for more information on the recycling programs being offered in the coming weeks.

Check Back Today: Theres' a full slate of Medfield High School sports action after Wednesday's postponements. With Thursday's forecast calling for 60 degrees and partly sunny, there are seven teams expected to be in action: Boys' and girls' varsity track will travel to Medway for a 3:30 p.m. meet; Girls' lacrosse travels to Hopkinton for a 3:45 p.m. game; Boys' tennis travels to Wrentham for a 3:45 p.m. match against King Philip; Girls' tennis hosts King Philip at 3:45 p.m.; Boys' lacrosse hosts Hopkinton at 3:45 p.m. and the boys' volleyball team hosts St. John's Prep at 6:30 p.m. We will also provide a preview of the weekend ahead in our Get Out! feature at 10 a.m.; profile houses that sold in the area over the past week in Sold! and feature our weekly photo gallery of scenes around town in Viewfinder.
