Play Ball!: The 2011 Major League Baseball season officially began Thursday with several teams in action. But for many in New England, especially Massachusetts. the season hasn't begun until the Boston Red Sox take the field. That happens today as the 2011 Sox open the season in Arlington against the defending American League Champion Texas Rangers. The first pitch is expected around 4:05 p.m. and the Sox will send Jon Lester to the mound for his first Opening Day start against Rangers' ace, C.J. Wilson. Check back today for "Sox Talk" around Medfield and a preview of where the best places around the area to watch a Sox game are.
