It is another busy weekend around the Medfield area with plenty going on. Here's your weekend guide.  

"" Walk-A-Thon at Medfield Track: There will be an important fundraiser in the form of a walk-a-thon taking place at the Medfield High School track on Sunday, May 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Show your support for Olivia Bonfilio and her family as Olivia battles a rare type of leukemia by participating in Sunday's event. Notable Events:

  • Medfield Garden Club will hold its spring plant sale Saturday, May 21, from 9 a.m. to noon. 
  • First Baptist Church of Medfield's Annual Yard Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church.
  • Medfield girls' lacrosse will travel to Holliston on Sunday, May 22 for a 3 p.m. game.
  • Medfield Girl Scouts Registration will be held at the Medfield Parks and Recreation Department on North Street from 3 to 5 p.m.

New 'N Towne's Big Rig Festival: You do not want to miss NNT’s Big Rig Festival! There will be all kinds of big rigs and utility vehicles on display for children to touch, climb and explore. Blow the horn on a fire engine, sit in a police squad car or climb in an ambulance … just to name a few. This event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 21 in the Blake Middle School parking lot. Tickets are $5 per child.

Lowell Mason House Celebration Concert at St. Edward's: A celebration and benefit concert for the saving of the Lowell Mason House will take place Sunday at 2 p.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church.The Handel and Haydn Young Men's Chorus and the Medfield High School Concert Choir will perform.Additional Performances will include:Composer and guitarist Mark SmallPianist/singer-songwriter Anne Marie DavidMusic Director of St. Edward Church, and Medfield High School violinist Stephen Krawec. Suggested donation is $5 for adults and $10 for families.
