Five Things You Need to Know This Weekend: April 2-3

Here's a look at the weekend ahead.

Notable Events:

  • The will be held at the Recreation Department on North Street from 8:30 a.m to 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
  • Event will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tangerini Farm on 139 Spring St. in Millis. 
  • Family Games and Crafts at the library will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A variety of concerts to see this weekend: Rick Fetters will be performing at Medfield's North Street Coffeehouse at 7 p.m. Saturday in the First Parish Unitarian Universalist of Medfield. Witness some history at the Medfield High School auditorium Saturday night as the facility is renamed and dedicated after Lowell Mason by the Lowell Mason Foundation. Ceremony and concert begins at 7 p.m. On Sunday, stop by the Medfield Public Library for an Irish Concert with the Stoneybatter Band from 3 to 4 p.m. Then venture further down Main Street to the United Church of Christ to see the New England Brass Band Perform at 4 p.m.

Special Collection Day at the Highway Garage: The Town of Medfield Public Works Department is holding a special collection day at the Highway Garage at 55 North Meadow Rd. from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Computers, laptops, TVs and used motor coil will be accepted for $5 per CRT. Accepted payments will be checks or cash only. MTS sticker is required and the collection is for Medfield residents only.
