"Fight for Taylor" Charity Boxing Event Tonight (plus an Update from Taylor)

A charity boxing event will be held to help support Taylor Sack of Millis who remains partially paralyzed after a skiing accident in February.

Fitness Advantage FA Boxing is proud to sponsor "Fight for Taylor Night" tonight, June 7, at Demetri's in Foxboro.

Taylor Sack, a 17-year-old student from Millis, was seriously injured in February after hitting a tree while skiing at Wachusett Mountain.  The junior at Millis High School and captain of the 2014 Millis/Hopedale Mohawks (where he wore jersey #11) is now paralyzed from the waist down.

Update from Taylor on www.TaylorSack.org

MAY 16, 2013 ~ "So I know I haven't updated you guys in a while and I am sorry, especially for those of you who are far away. I came home from rehab Friday, April 26th and have been doing very well. The house has a beautiful new deck and ramp on it and a very nice bathroom that is almost completed. I am truly overwhelmed by the amount of support I have received and very thankful for everything that people have been doing for me. I returned to school last Monday and the transition was pretty smooth. The school and staff were very helpful and pretty good about most things. When I came home I started going to a new gym in Canton called Journey Forward...It is not a rehabilitation place but it is a gym that specializes in spinal cord type injuries. I like the gym a lot and am still very hopeful that I will get more things back with my body and eventually walk again. I have my top abdominals back and am working on strengthening them. My spirits are still high and I am very hopeful for the future.”
