Car Wash Saturday to Benefit Spanish Honor Society

On Saturday, May 4, the Medfield High School Spanish Honor Society will hold a car wash fundraiser behind Town Hall. 

The purpose of the fundraiser is to raise money for scholarships for MHS students who want to attend the 2014 Spain Trip but can't afford the cost. The estimated cost of that trip is about $2,000 each. 

"We're hoping to raise enough money to defray the cost of some students' fees because I believe that all MHS Spanish enthusiasts should have the opportunity to travel to Spain regardless of their financial status," said MHS Student Council President Blake Brown. 

Brown said the cost of the car wash is a minimum donation of $5 per wash but people can "name the price" as can then donate what they wish to the Spanish Honor Society.
