Best Spot for Mother’s Day Brunch: Blue Moon Bagel Cafe

Blue Moon Bagel Café on Main Street has been named the best spot for Mother's Day brunch in Medfield by Patch readers.

If you’re searching for a local place to take mom to breakfast on Mother’s Day next Sunday, look no further than on Main Street.

This past week, we asked readers to fill us in on where the best spot for Mother’s Day brunch in Medfield is and after days of polling, the results are in! In a close race between three local eateries, Blue Moon Bagel Café has been chosen as the best spot in town.

Our shows the majority of readers will be taking mom out to breakfast at Blue Moon Bagel Café next Sunday. The Main Street eatery claimed 13 of the 47 poll votes (27 percent). Blue Moon beat out Medfield’s , where the Medfield Lions have held their annual pancake breakfasts. Despite the recent news that the , the legion still claimed 12 of 47 votes (25 percent), good enough for second place. on North Meadows Road came in third place with 10 votes (21 percent).

Blue Moon Bagel Cafe is located at 236 Main St. in the plaza. The cafe features gourmet fare trade coffee, fresh-baked breads and pastries. The interior has a large, brightly lit dining room for diners to enjoy their coffee and take a break from their day. The shop also features espresso drinks and hot or cold sandwiches. Blue Moon was started in 1996 by Linda and Dan, a fourth generation master baker, Freedman, and it is enjoyed by residents of Medfield and surrounding towns.
