Area Teen's Viral Video Gets Attention of Ellen DeGeneres

Hannah Melton of Mansfield has a great sense of humor about what happened to her when she had her wisdom teeth out -- and her mother caught her recovery on video -- and Ellen DeGenerous thinks so too. 

After seeing the video, DeGeneres invited the local resident and Syracuse University student to appear on the April 18 edition of her talk show.

“I love Ellen and was thrilled to be on her show.” said Melton. “It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and I’m grateful to be part of it.” 

During the segment, DeGeneres helped Melton better channel Hannah Montana by giving her a wig, jacket, and dress the character played by Miley Cyrus is known to wear.

Melton then sang "Party in the U.S.A." before the segment ended and went to commercial.
