Today's Forecast: Thursday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for a chance of rain, mainly before 11 a.m. Patchy fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 69. Southwest wind between 6 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.  Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 49. South wind between 7 and 11 mph.

  • The Medfield Conservation Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Medfield .
  • The  will be open today from 2 to 5:30 p.m. on the grounds of the  at 26 North St. Fresh produce and food will be offered by local farmers and producers. Parking is available behind the Church.

The will hold several events today:

  • To celebrate Teen Read Week, the library will hold a special screening of the movie "Persepolis" at 7 p.m. This FREE movie is rated PG-13. Popcorn and soda will be served.
  • Pattycake Place Story Time will be held at 10:45 a.m. Children, ages 0-23 months old are invited to participate in the interactive storytime with their caregivers.  The library will also host a Book Bunch Storytime, beginning at 11:30 a.m. for preschoolers, ages 2 and 3.
