Today's Forecast: Wednesday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for mostly sunny, with a high near 65. Calm wind becoming south between 4 and 7 mph.  Wednesday Night: A slight chance of showers after 4 a.m. Patchy fog. Otherwise, increasing clouds, with a low around 49. South wind around 6 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

  • In Medfield Today, The Historical Commission will meet at the Medfield  at 7 p.m.
  • Boosters will hold a Subway Fundraiser today from 3 to 9 p.m. Stop by on Main Street and pick up lunch or dinner and support the MHS Class of 2012. 
  • The Senior Center holds a "Fit to Knit" session every Wednesday at 2 p.m. This class is free and open to all community adults.

The will host several events today:

  • Children and teens in grades four and up are invited to stop by the Medfield Library every Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. to choose and play from a collection of Wii games. The gaming station will be set up in the lower level meeting room.
  • Pattycake Place Story Time will be held at 10:45 a.m. Children, ages 0-23 months old are invited to particpate in the interactive storytime with their caregivers. Also at the library Wednesday, will be the Book Bunch Storytime, beginning at 11:30 a.m. for preschoolers, ages 2 and 3.

Have You Seen This Cat? Medfield resident Meghan Norton contacted Medfield Patch in hope its readers could help her find her family cat, who went missing Friday, Nov. 4. The cat's name is Ruggles and he is described as a long-haired orange cat with green eyes. Ruggles was last seen on Eastmount Road.
