5 Things: Author Speaks at First Parish, School Committee Meeting and MHS Theatre Tickets on Sale

Here's a look at the day ahead for Monday, March 5.

Today's Forecast: Monday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for partly sunny, with a high near 36. Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 15.

Notable Events:  

  • The Medfield School Committee will meet at the tonight at 7:30.
  • Medfield Historical Society invites the community to attend a special presentation by Samuel Forman, author of the book "Dr. Joseph Warren: The Boston Tea Party, Bunker Hill, and the Birth of American Liberty" tonight at 7:30 at the . Forman will share new discoveries about Miss Scollay, a most distinguished and unrecognized Medfield resident.
  • Tickets are now available for the Theatre Society musical "Into The Woods." Stephen Sondheim shows what he thinks a true ending to a fairy tale would be if you combined Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, and Rapunzel all in one show. Performances will be held at the Medfield High School on March 9th and 10th at 7 p.m. and the 11th at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12, general seating available at .   • The  will hold a free support group at 7:30 p.m. to provide healing and hope for adults who are divorced or separated.
