Today's Forecast: Monday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for sunny, with a high near 33. Monday Night: A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

  • Today the country celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It is observed each year on the third Monday of January, around the day of his birthday, Jan. 15.
  • and the on North Street will both be closed today in observance for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Classes resume Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Warriors' Monday:

Medfield schools may be closed but some of the Warriors sports teams will be active today. The boys' and girls' swim teams will compete at Ashland for a 1:30 p.m. swim meet. The girls' gymnastics team hosts Acton-Boxborough Regional at 7 p.m. and the boys' hockey team takes on Bishop Feehan at the Veterans Arena in Franklin at 6 p.m.
