Today's Forecast: Wednesday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for snow, mainly after 3 p.m. High near 36. Calm wind becoming southeast between 4 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.  Wednesday Night: Snow and sleet before 1 a.m., then rain and snow between 1 and 4 a.m., then snow after 4 a.m. Patchy fog. Low around 31. East wind between 8 and 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100 percent. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Notable Events:

• will hold an Incoming sixth grade Parent Information Night at 7 p.m. Fifth grade parents are encouraged to attend this special Program of Studies Information Night, which will be held at the Blake Middle School auditorium.

• The girls' basketball team will host Hingham in the first round of the MIAA Division 2 South Sectional State Tournament at 7 p.m. and the MHS girls' hockey team takes on Concord-Carlisle at Iorio Arena in Walpole at 4 p.m. in the preliminary round of the MIAA Division 2 State Tournament.

The will host several events today:

• Children and teens in grades four and up are invited to stop by the Medfield Library every Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. to choose and play from a collection of Wii games. The gaming station will be set up in the lower level meeting room.

• Pattycake Place Story Time will be held at 10:45 a.m. Children, ages 0-23 months old are invited to particpate in the interactive storytime with their caregivers. Also at the library Wednesday, will be the Book Bunch Storytime, beginning at 11:30 a.m. for preschoolers, ages 2 and up.
