Today's Forecast: Thursday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for a chance of showers, mainly after 5 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 49. Calm wind becoming south between 5 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent. Thursday Night: Rain showers before midnight, then rain and snow showers between midnight and 4 a.m., then rain showers after 4 a.m. Patchy fog between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m., then patchy fog after 5 a.m. Low around 35. South wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Notable Events:

  • The Guidance Department has announced the parent sign-off sheet for course selections for students in grades 8-11 are due today.
  • The Conservation Commission will hold a meeting at the at 7:30 p.m.
