5 Things You Need to Know This Weekend in Medfield, Sept. 10-11

Weekend Forecast: Saturday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for patchy fog before 7 a.m. Otherwise, mostly sunny, with a high near 74. Northeast wind between 3 and 6 mph. Saturday Night: Patchy fog after 5 a.m. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 50. East wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Sunday: Patchy fog before 8 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 70. East wind between 3 and 8 mph. Sunday Night: A slight chance of showers. Patchy fog after 2 a.m. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 55. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Notable Events:

  • Powisset Farm Stand at in Medfield will take place Saturday at 9 a.m. 
  • Medfield High School Student Council Car Wash will be held behind from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to raise money for student council activities throughout the year.

 Remember 9/11: Sunday will mark the 10th Anniversary of the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. There will be services, ceremonies and vigils around the area as well memorial unveilings and moments of silence and reflection as we all remember those who lost their lives.
