5 Things: Boys' Hockey in D3 Semis, ANGP Workshop and Library Events

Here's a quick look at what's happening today, March 7 in Medfield.

Today's Forecast: Wednesday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for sunny, with a high near 54. Southwest wind between 8 and 16 mph. Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 38. Southwest wind around 10 mph.

Notable Events:

  • The CSA (Community School Association) will meet at the school at 7 p.m. All parents are invited to join.
  • Medfield High School Boosters will hold a meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the Library Media Center. All are welcome.
  • The Medfield All Night Graduation Party (ANGP) Committee wil hold decorating workshops every Wednesday through May from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in the Cafe. Volunteers are always welcome to to assist in these weekly decorating workshops.  Many hands are needed so please try to attend. No experience necessary, just your willingness to help.

  • Children and teens in grades four and up are invited to stop by the Medfield Library every Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. to choose and play from a collection of Wii games. The gaming station will be set up in the lower level meeting room.
  • Pattycake Place Story Time will be held at 10:45 a.m. Children, ages 0-23 months old are invited to particpate in the interactive storytime with their caregivers. Also at the library Wednesday, will be the Book Bunch Storytime, beginning at 11:30 a.m. for preschoolers, ages 2 and up.

Warriors Wendesday: The Medfield High School boys' hockey team travels to Gallo Arena in Bourne today for a 5:30 p.m. showdown against Rockland in the MIAA Division 3 South Sectional semifinal round of the state tournament. Go Warriors!
