5 Things: Candidates' Evening, Art 'N Bloom and Spelling Bee

Here's a quick look at what's happening in Medfield today, March 21.

Today's Forecast: Wednesday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 80. West wind between 3 and 9 mph. Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 51. Southwest wind around 6 mph.

Notable Events:

  • The Medfield League of Women Voters will sponsor a “Candidates' Evening” tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Chenery Room (second floor of ).  The evening is designed to introduce the candidates running for Medfield town offices to the town’s voters.
  • The will once again host the Art 'N Bloom exhibit beginning today through Sunday, March 25 during regular library hours.  The Art N' Bloom is a joint collaboration between the Medfield Garden Club and art students from Medfield High School.  Approximatly 25 pieces of student artwork will be placed with beautiful floral arrangements throughout the library.
  • CSA will hold a meeting in the cafeteria at 7 p.m. Parents and kids are welcome to attend. 
  • The Medfield All Night Graduation Party (ANGP) Committee wil hold a decorating workshop tonight from 6:00 p.m to 9:30 p.m. in the Cafe. Volunteers are always welcome to to assist in these weekly decorating workshops. Many hands are needed so please try to attend. No experience necessary, just your willingness to help.
  • The Medfield Coalition of Public Education (MCPE) is hosting its 7th annual spelling bee today at the Lowell Mason Auditorium of Medfield High School for third to fifth graders and sixth to eighth graders. The third to fifth graders begin at 4 p.m. and the sixth to eighth graders begin at 6:30 p.m.
