Today's Forecast: Friday's weather, according to the National Weather Service based in Taunton, calls for a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 a.m., then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Cloudy, with a high near 50. South wind between 3 and 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Friday Night: A slight chance of showers before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41. Calm wind becoming north around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

  • The Board of Selectmen will hold a meeting at the at 7:30 a.m. to vote and sign on the 2012 Annual Meeting Warrant and to discuss pending land acquisition in executive session.

  • The , , and the are taking collections to help the Medfield Food Cupboard. Although the Medfield Food Cupboard will accept all non-perishable items, the following items are need for March: juice, raisins, canned pineapple & peaches, canned chicken, coffee and tea, packaged cookes and tall kitchen garbage bags. Please drop off these items at your local church any Sunday.
