Dwight-Derby House Summer Concerts Series begins!

This information was provided by Cheryl O'Malley, President of the Friends of the Dwight-Derby House.

The Dwight-Derby House will have their first Summer Concert of this season on May 22nd from 7:00pm – 10:00pm.  Doug Olsen will perform, on trumpet, with his jazz band. They will engulf you with the sounds of jazz which is sure to be a toe tapping event.

Doug is the music director at the Medfield Public Schools. He has performed with well-known bands, such as, the Tommy Dorsey Big Band, The Smithsonian Masterworks Jazz Orchestra directed by David Baker and musician, Jerry Bergonzi.  Mark your calendars and be sure to not miss this in person performance at the Dwight-Derby House at 7 Frairy Street, Medfield.

Larkin’s Liquors will return again, this year, with a tantalizing beer and wine tasting especially selected for your enjoyment. Larkin’s is the oldest continuous operating business in Medfield and is conveniently located in the center of town on North Street.

Refreshments will be served.  The entrance fee is $25.

This season there will be three more concerts which will take place on the THIRD THURSDAY of the month in June (19th), September (18th) and October (16th).

All proceeds from these events will go to the restoration, preservation and maintenance of the Dwight-Derby House.   The Friends of the Dwight-Derby House are a non-profit organization that is responsible for the restoration, preservation and maintenance of the Dwight-Derby House.  We receive no funds from the town.  We are solely supported by grants, fundraising efforts and private donations.  Please consider supporting us today.
