The planning has begun...."Celebrate Lord's"

Celebrate Lord's event being planned for Friday, February 15th!

A small group of people in the Medfield community met on Saturday morning and began the planning of a celebration to say thank you and goodbye to Lord's.

The event will be on Friday, February 15 at 6:30pm, at Lord's Department Store, so mark your calendars.  There will be presentations, music, food, photos, memories, and lots more!

Everyone is invited to attend and more information will follow as it the planning continues.

Please keep reading the updates on the Medfield Patch as well as on the Medfield Remembers Lord's facebook page.  For more information or to get involved, contact Nancy Norris at nfcusanno@verizon.net.

A very heartfelt thank you to those organizing this well deserving tribute. My only thought is that the store location will severely limit the number of people who can attend. Is there not another venue, school or Legion hall, that would allow for greater attendance?

Thank you Steve for your comment. We are still in the planning process, and considering all options, but thought having the event at Lord's would make it even more special. And by 2/15, there will most likely be much open space, as many items and displays will no longer be there, but I'll bring your thoughts to the committee!
