Spontaneous Police Escort for Dale Street School Special Olympics Athletes!

Dale Street School Special Olympians receive an unexpected police escort!

The Dale Street School Special Education Student Athletes were given an impromptu police escort back to their school at the conclusion of the Special Olympics Basketball Games event on Friday afternoon.

The Dale Street School office received a phone call that the students were returning with a police escort, so numerous classes of students waited for their arrival and waved, applauded and cheered these athletes as they exited the van.

Two police cruisers, driven by Officer Anderson and Officer Manganiello as well as Chief Bob Meaney's vehicle escorted the van carrying the students from Blake Middle School to Dale Street School.
