Memorial School events during the week of March 5th through 8th include Kick-off assemblies, the visiting Community Readers, a visit from the MHS Theatre Society cast of Seussical, and a visit from the Cat in the Hat!

These events are coordinated each year by CSA volunteers.  This year the CSA Literary Committee members, Michelle Callahan and Colleen Hawley worked in conjunction with Memorial School Librarian, Randie Groden and Principal, Andrea Trasher to make these days special for the children at Memorial School.

The final piece of the Read Across America program is the visit from a children's author and this year, local children's author, David Biedrzycki will be visiting the Memorial School in early April.
