When Will Brothers Marketplace Officially Open in Medfield?

Find out when the opening will be. Hint: It's only days away.

Roche Bros. has announced that it is preparing to open its next-generation "Brothers Marketplace" store in Medfield later this month.

The highly-anticipated grocery store, which will replace the decades-old iconic Lord's Department Store at 446 Main St., will open on Wednesday, July 30. From that date on, the store will be open Mondays through Saturdays from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m., and on Sundays from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.

The store itself aims to focus on local producers and vendors who have been handpicked by store associates. Armeno Coffee of Northborough, produce from Tangerini's Farm in Millis and other locally-produced items will be featured. The local business will also include an in-store diner with a menu offering such items as classic burgers and hot dogs to handcrafted sodas and a full ice cream menu.
