Walpole's Walmart celebrated their grand reopening on Wednesday after months of construction to expand the retail store into a Walmart Supercenter.
Walpole's Walmart originally opened its doors in 1994.
The expansion includes more retail space and a new grocery section that has a full service bakery and deli, fresh produce, frozen foods, and dairy products.
Walpole Boy Scout Troop 97 and local veterans were also on hand to present and raise an American flag in the front of the store.
After the ribbon cutting ceremony, those in attendance were served cake and coffee.
The Walpole Fire Department and Walpole Police Department both received $2,000 donations, respectively, from Walmart.
Police Chief Richard Stillman said the $2,000 his department received would be donated to the Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) program, a initiative that teaches women self-defense tactics and techniques.
