The Cronut Comes to Medfield
What is a cronut? Find out Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Blue Moon.
The "Cronut" is the hottest (bakery) craze to hit New York City and today it will debut in Medfield.
"We are making the famous Cronuts at Blue Moon Bagel Cafe every Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.," said Linda Freedman who owns Blue Moon with her husband Dan.
So what is this pastry that even has its own Facebook page?
"It's a croissant dough made into a donut, filled with pastry cream, rolled in cinnamon sugar and then topped with maple glaze," she said. "People are waiting in line for them for hours in NYC."
