Medway Oil Has First Fall Festival

The event was held on Sept. 15 and was well-attended by many.

This was taken from a press release provided to Medfield Patch.

Medway Oil & Propane held its first Family Fall Festival on Saturday, Sept. 15th with great success.

Medway Oil has offices in Medway and Milford, provides oil and propane to surrounding towns, including Medfield.

The fun-filled festival featured their beloved company cat and mascot Diesel who arrived “in person” and greeted attendees with open paws and hugs. Diesel was not the only furry feline there, the Purrfect Cat Shelter of Medway brought along six adorable seven-week-old kittens to enjoy the festivities along with adoption information, beautiful handmade quilts and an array of kitty-related items and handouts.

Attendees had a chance to explore touch-a-trucks on display which included a Bobtail truck, Oil delivery truck, Crane truck, and a XXXX Fire Truck. For those who didn’t get a chance to sit in one of the large vehicles, they heard the loud horn-honking from kids who had an opportunity to pull.

There were also many games and prizes, face painting, free BBQ, and courtesy of Black Cow of Millis many enjoyed homemade ice cream with all the fixings.

On display were several home heating-related equipment items including a Rinnai Propane Tankless Water Heater, Rinnai Propane Unit Heater, Modine Hot Dawg Propane Garage Heater, Roth Fuel Oil Tank, and several Propane Tanks. In addition an array of give-aways, handouts and an opportunity to enter our Festival Raffle.

Raffle winners just announced, are Tim Titcomb of Hopkinton who will be enjoying the New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills game in November...LIVE! Tom Mele of Medway gets a head start on home heating with 100 Gallons of free oil, and Sam Mastroianni will enjoy "Outdoor Living" insect-free with her new SkeeterVac Insect Control System. Congratulations to all!

The Medway Oil & Propane Family Fall Festival ran from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm during a beautiful late summer day. We thank all who attended and contributed to making the Festival such a great success.
